Melanie Hudson Always an avid reader and writer, Melanie Hudson received her Bachelor of Journalism, High Honours from Carleton University in 1984.  She has held various editing jobs, for both English and French publications.  Currently working for the Industrial Gas Users Association, she's responsible for managing the office, finances, quarterly report and annual conference.  Her eye for detail and dedication to success earned her the title Planner of the Year from the Ottawa Chapter of Meeting Professionals International in 2003.  For many years she's been volunteer reporter and photographer for the local MPI newsletter, as well as a member of the choir. Melanie started piano lessons at age five, and ever since she has keenly incorporated music into all aspects of her life.
