Marlene Field Through her multi-faceted thirty-one year teaching career, she crossed the paths of thousands of students, sharing her skill, knowledge and enthusiasm, encouraging them to set high standards and attain their goals. Teaching mainly 7 th and 8 th grade students in a variety of subjects (primarily Instrumental and Vocal Music, as well as Physical Education and Health, English, Family Studies, and Math) was a joyous challenge in which she excelled. She has had a huge impact on her students, leading them to further their education and even some to careers in music and/or teaching. As well as teaching, Marlene is involved in the community, as a Musical Director, a professional trombonist and conductor, and currently is President of the Orpheus Musical Theatre Society, the longest continuous running musical theatre company in North America.
