DUSTIN VYE Dustin's stage debut as an acrobat in the 1998 National Arts Centre production of the Mikado fuelled his interest in the performing arts. Since then, Dustin has performed in the NAC English theatre production of Hard Times for These Times and the Odyssey, the Opera Lyra Ottawa productions of La Boheme and Carmen, and played the role of Sonny in the Orpheus production of Grease. Dustin is also a former member of the Canadian National gymnastics team and trained as an acrobat with Cirque du Soleil. |
| Operatic roles during his studies at the University of Ottawa include Papageno in the Magic Flute and Figaro in the Marriage of Figaro. A baccalaureate in voice performance graduate of the University of Ottawa , Dustin is continuing voice studies at the Masters level in New York City at the Manhattan School of Music. Dustin would like to thank Gordon Johnston for his support and guidance over the years. |
